MMDA to implement 'stop-and-go' traffic during EDSA Bus Carousel repairs
by Kristan Carag04 August 2023

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will implement a "stop-and-go" traffic scheme in selected parts of EDSA starting Friday, August 4, until the morning of Thursday, August 10.

From Friday until Wednesday, August 9, the Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct asphalt overlay and road repair activities along the ESDA Carousel Bus lane, which prompted MMDA to implement the traffic scheme.

"About hundred meters doon sa mga site na gagawin, papalabasin natin yung bus para maiwasan yung ginagawang portion na sarado. After, papabalikin natin," MMDA chairperson Romando Artes explained on Friday during DZRH's Dos Por Dos.

"Yung second lane sa left, papatigilin natin everytime na may lalabas na bus," Artes said.

  5. Before Guadalupe Bridge (whole length)
  6. Rockwell Footbridge - Kalayaan (whole length)
  7. Footbridge before Trinoma – front Landmark
