Microsoft’s Xbox chief Phil Spencer ended speculations regarding the release of the popular video game Call of Duty (COD) on Nintendo Switch as he already confirmed it in a tweet last December 7.
Microsoft has entered into a 10-year commitment to bring Call of Duty to @Nintendo following the merger of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King. Microsoft is committed to helping bring more games to more people – however they choose to play. @ATVI_AB

Alongside the 10-year commitment, they also announced that Microsoft will continue to offer the game on Steam, an online game platform.
Call of Duty is a globally successful first-person shooter video game franchise currently available on Xbox consoles, Sony’s PlayStation. It can also be enjoyed on PC, mobile phones, Nintendo’s older Wii, and DS consoles.
It also has a professional esports league called ‘Call of Duty League’ which consists of 12 teams and now has 4 seasons starting in 2020.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has a plan to acquiring Activision Blizzard, the developer of COD with a $69-billion deal. However, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is now trying to block the U.S. tech giant from buying the company as it allegedly violates U.S. law.
