According to Coast Guard Station Cagayan de Oro's initial report, MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro encountered a 10-degree listing due to bad weather-induced strong winds while traversing the vicinity waters off Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental at around 8:05 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12.

"They assisted in the disembarkation of 448 passengers (all in good physical condition) and four rolling cargoes on board," it said.

The PCG said it has ordered an investigation regarding a RoRo vessel.
