Families riding trains in Metro Manila on Sundays can now enjoy "Pamilya Pass 1+3" promo.
Launched on Sunday, June 1, the program is part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.s' initiatives to support Filipino families by promoting quality time together, specifically by easing the financial burden of transportation every Sunday.
Under the Pamilya Pass 1+3 promo, one paying family member may bring up to three immediate family members for free. Immediate family members may include parents and children; grandparents and grandchildren; siblings; or uncles, aunts, or guardians with their dependents.
During the launch, the President, together with First Lady Liza Marcos and their sons — Ilocos Norte First District Representative Sandro Marcos, Simon Marcos, and Vincent Marcos — personally rode the MRT-3 train from the GMA-Kamuning Station in Diliman, Quezon City
The family purchased a single-ride ticket and interacted with passengers of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) before disembarking at the North Avenue Station.
The Pamilya Pass 1+3 promo will be implemented across all major rail lines, including MRT-3, Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), and Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2).
This will be effective until June 2028.
