<p>For his 66th birthday, President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. wishes for a better state of agriculture in the country.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The President voiced out his aspiration during an ambush interview at the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) central office in Quezon City on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Maging maayos na ang agrikultura [For agriculture to be in a better state]," Marcos revealed.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"At malaman na natin kung ano ba talaga ang weather, wet season ba o dry season? Para naman matulungan natin &lsquo;yung mga farmer natin. &lsquo;Yun lamang naman ang aking panalangin pa rin hanggang ngayon," he added.&nbsp;</p>
<p>[And for us to know&nbsp;<span lang="en">what the weather really is, is it a wet season or a dry season?&nbsp;</span><span lang="en">So that we can help our farmers. That&rsquo;s my only prayer until now.]</span></p>
<p><span lang="en">Marcos, who sits as the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture (DA), struggles to stabilize the prices for rice and vegetables in the country.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>He is set to fly to Singapore on Wednesday to attend the <a href="https://dzrh.com.ph/post/pbbm-to-attend-asian-conference-in-singapore" target="_blank" rel="noopener">10th Asian Conference</a> from September 13-15 where he will put forward his administration's priority policies and programs.&nbsp;</p>
<p>For his birthday getaway, the President is expected to celebrate in the Lion City and attend the&nbsp;Formula One&nbsp;Singapore Grand Prix 2023.</p>
