Magnitude 4.6 quake hits Davao Occidental

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake hit Balut Island, Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Thursday, April 18, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.

PHILVOCS report said the tectonic earthquake occurred at 4:34 am.
It has a depth of 274 kilometers, but no reported intensities.
Meanwhile, the state seismologist said no damage and aftershocks are expected.
