The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Tuesday announced that motorists can now renew their vehicle registration online.
In a statement, LTO said motorists can now use its online portal Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) to renew.
To apply for renewal, all motorists are required to create an account at the LTMS portal.
The LTO said that the online motor vehicle renewal of registration is only applicable to plain renewal.
Also before the online registration, Tugade said motorists must secure a Certificate of Coverage (COC) first, and their vehicles must undergo an inspection at the Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (PMVIC).
“Both the validated insurance and the motor vehicle inspection report (MVIR) will be electronically sent to the LTMS,” he said.
