The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) has resumed full and normal operations after a fire broke out near Recto Station.

In an advisory on Sunday afternoon, train operator Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced that trips from Recto to Antipolo and vice versa have resumed.

However, it noted that due to the fire damage, passengers cannot use the connecting bridge, which serves as the link from LRT-2 Recto Station to LRT-1 Doroteo Jose Station.

"Paalala ng LRTA sa mga pasahero, sa ibaba o sa kalsada muna dumaan habang isinasaayos pa ang naturang tulay," LRTA said.

On Sunday morning, May 14, LRT-A implemented limited trips from LRT-2 - Antipolo station to V. Mapa station following the reported fire in Oroquetta, Sta. Cruz, Manila, which is adjacent to LRT-2 Recto station.
