The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) on Thursday, February 1, resumed its usual operations from Recto to Antipolo station.

LRT-2 limited its trip on Wednesday following the fire that razed a residential area along Recto Avenue.

The fire was raised to the fifth alarm around 3:40 p.m., needing about 20 fire trucks until it was declared under control around 5:20 p.m.

Nearly 300 families were reportedly displaced by the fire, with the affected families seeking temporary shelter in a covered court.
