Oil companies announced a price increase of their Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) effective this November.
In separate advisories, both Petroleum Corporation, and Phoenix LPG Phils. announced a Php 3.50 per kilogram price increase of their LPG products.
At the same time, they also implemented a Php 1.96 per liter increase in the price of their Auto LPG products.
The price increase started on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Petron said the price hike is due to the “movements in the international oil market” for November.
The oil company noted that no price increase shall be implemented in areas under a state of calamity due to a price freeze.
Solane announced a Php 3.55 per kilogram increase effective Nov. 2, Wednesday.
Likewise, it said price freeze in areas placed under a state of calamity shall be enforced.
