At least three major firms implemented price reductions for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and automotive LPG on the first day of the month of July.
Starting at 1:00 a.m., Petron lowered the cost of LPG by P2.07 per liter for its auto LPG and P3.70 per kilogram for both.
Effective 12:01 a.m., Phoenix LPG Philippines, Inc. also announced price reductions for its Phoenix Super LPG and car LPG of P3.70 per kilogram and P2.05 per liter, respectively.
Solane also announced that starting at 6 a.m., the price of its LPG brand will be reduced by P3.73 per kilogram.
On the other hand, Members of the LPG Marketers Association already implemented a P3 per kilogram rollback in the price of cooking gas last Tuesday.
LPG prices are adjusted on a monthly basis.
