

Actress Lotlot de Leon penned a heartfelt letter to her late mother, the “Superstar” Nora Aunor, vowing that she and her siblings will honor and preserve their mother’s legacy.
In an Instagram post featuring a childhood photo of herself being carried by Nora, Lotlot shared that she often finds herself talking to her late mother, believing she is still listening.
She added that she had already said everything she needed to, and that she knows Nora had entrusted her with the responsibility of looking after her siblings and grandchildren.
"Yung tinuro mo sa akin na maging matatag sinusubukan ko po talagang gawin," said Lotlot de Leon.

Lotlot mentioned that countless people continue to love her mother, saying she hopes Nora witnessed the outpouring of love.
"They all showed up for you and our family and kame na mga anak mo sobrang grateful po. Si Ian, Matet, Kiko, Ken at ako," said Lotlot.
Furthermore, Lotlot asked her mother to continue watching over their entire family.
"Basta look after us always ma.. alam ko hindi mo kame pababayaan sa bawat desision na gagawin naming magkakapatid. At lalo pa kame nagkakaisa dahil sayo," Lotlot stated.
"And we promise to take care of your legacy, Ma, kame ng mga kapatid ko. Rest easy ma," she added.
The veteran actress and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts passed away on April 16 at the age of 71, as earlier announced by her son, Ian de Leon.
She was given her final farewell on April 22, as she was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City.
