"Sana ay proud kayo, Pilipinas!!"
Filipino-Australian singer Ylona Garcia proudly sang the Philippine National Anthem during a Los Angeles Dodgers game at the Dodger Stadium for Filipino Heritage Night.
A week after her performance, the 'Pinoy Big Brother" alum opened up about her experience and she felt a bit nervous.
Gacia then wrote that she ensured she was singing it at the right key, tempo, and more importantly, from the heart.
Sana proud kayo, Pilipinas," she happily wrote.
On the same night, before the Dodgers triumphed over the Oakland Athletics, Filipino-American rapper Ez Mil threw out the first pitch.
Before pursuing her career in Los Angeles, Garcia was part of several drama series in the country.
