The Local Government Units (LGUs) throughout the country issued a fixed schedule for visiting hours in specific cemeteries and private parks this Undas 2024.
As a basis for everyone, some cemeteries limited visiting hours from November 1 to 3, in observance of Undas 2024.
Manila North Cemetery authorities clarified that there will be no extension for visitors. In an interview with reporters, authorities mentioned that visiting hours will end at 7 PM. Overnight stays in the cemetery are also prohibited.
It had already reached 11,000 visitors at around 9 AM, but operatives said that they would be expecting more people to come in the afternoon.
Both Manila North and South Cemetery will be open from 5 AM to 7 PM, starting October 30 to November 1; while cemeteries in Parañaque City vary in schedules, with some allowed to enter at midnight, while others at 6 AM.
Meanwhile, the Pasay City Cemetery will be open from 6 AM to 12 AM, from November 1 to 2.
For other areas in the country, the public is advised to check their local offices’ social media pages for specific schedules and additional reminders.
As of writing, the crowd estimate for Manila North Cemetery is 792,000, while over 99,000 visitors flocked to the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.
