Lance Reddick, who starred in TV series like ‘The Wire’ and the film ‘John Wick’, has died at the age of 60.

The actor’s death was confirmed by Mia Hansen, his publicist. Reddick passed away at his Studio City home in Los Angeles Friday morning “from natural causes.”

The upcoming ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, where he played the character of Charon, a hardworking hotel manager, is set to hit theaters a week after his death.

“The world of Wick would not be what it is without Lance Reddick and the unparalleled depth he brought to Charon’s humanity and unflappable charisma. Lance leaves behind an indelible legacy and hugely impressive body of work, but we will remember him as our lovely, joyful friend and Concierge,” Lionsgate said in a statement mourning his loss.

In 1996, he started landing small television roles, after leaving his successful career as a stage actor. His breakthrough came in 2002 as he played Lt. Cedric Daniels, the principled head of the investigation unit, on “The Wire.”

Reddick also appeared in hit movies including Angel Has Fallen (2019), White House Down (2013), Oldboy (2013), and The Guest (2014).
