Fans and supporters expressed relief after seeing renowned TV host and actress Kris Aquino getting back in shape and looking healthier than before.

Kris with her sons Bimby and Josh were seen in the photos posted by her closest friend Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste on his Facebook page.

“Spending the first day of the year with the Queen 💛✨” Leviste captioned in the post.

"Thanks God. She looks getting better, and praying for her fully recovery and healing. Have a blessed New year Miss Kris and thanks Sir for posting this pics," one netizen commented.

"Good to see you again Miss Kris. You're looking good. Happy new year. May you completely healed soonest," another netizen said.

In April last year, Kris disclosed that she was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening disease called eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).

She left the country in June to undergo a treatment that is only available in the United States.

During their stay in the US, Kris said she has been diagnosed with a fourth autoimmune illness. The three others were detected while she was still in the Philippines.

In her latest update on Instagram posted on Dec. 24, 2022, Kris said two of her autoimmune illnesses are “life-threatening”, and a fifth disease is “highly likely.”

The 51-year-old actress said her family’s lawyer has filed some necessary paperwork to extend their stay in the US and make it legal.

“A few days ago we did our biometrics scan. I was warned - you’ll need to wait 2-3 months to get the extension approval,” she shared.

Kris thanked the people who keep her family in their prayers.

“We may be an ocean apart, BUT it matters so much to know that many of you who don’t even know me or my sons personally, care enough to remember us & want me to win this seemingly endless battle with my autoimmune conditions,” she said.
