For her 24th birthday, Kapuso actress Klea Pineda mustered up some courage to come out as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
On her social media accounts, the "AraBella" star said coming out is the bravest decision she ever did in her life.
"My 24th birthday is extra special since I finally mustered up the courage to come out to the world as my true authentic self.
"I want the world to know that I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community," she said.
Although she knows not everyone will understand her decision to come out, Klea said she hopes to inspire others who are still coming to terms with their sexuality.
"By doing this, I hope to inspire and empower others who are still struggling to come into terms with their sexuality. Just be the person that your younger self would be proud of!"
Klea also assured her fans that she is still the same Klea and that her sexuality won't stop her from chasing after her dreams.
"My sexuality is just one aspect of my life and it won’t stop me from chasing after my dreams. I am still the same Klea that you loved and supported throughout the years. The only difference now is I can proudly say that I’m gay!" she exclaimed.
"From now on, I want to live my life fearlessly.
