Kitty Duterte, daughter of former president Rodrigo Duterte, along with her mother, Honeylet Avanceña attended a Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) Laban campaign rally in Quezon City on Monday.

In a speech, Kitty Duterte urged voters to support the PDP-Laban senatorial slate dubbed as “DuterTEN,” and warned against what she described as threats to democracy and father’s legacy.

"Nandito ako ngayon dahil kinuha nila sa amin, sa ating lahat, higit sa lahat, sa akin ang tatay ko," she said, referencing to the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest of Rodrigo Duterte on March 11, 2025, when she claimed her father was "kidnapped and abused."

Kitty emphasized the importance of backing all 10 senatorial candidates aligned with PDP-Laban.

“Suportahan natin ang PDP-Laban senatorial slate o mas kilala bilang DuterTEN. Mag-vote straight tayo, mag-bloc vote tayo upang mahirapan silang mandaya,” she urged the audience.

She also stressed that during his father’s presidency, Filipinos felt safer.

She further accused the current administration of targeting their family instead of addressing the country’s pressing issues.

She also delivered a personal message from her father, who is currently detained in The Hague, Netherlands.

Sabi niya, ‘I did what I could for my country, and you are all in my heart.’

Avanceña later took the stage to support her daughter's sentiments and called for unity among Duterte loyalists. She also criticized what she described as political persecution of their family and their allies.
