The family of deceased Beauty Queen Geneva Lopez hopes that the government will allocate more resources, and act with urgency to resolve missing persons cases.

Jovi Lopez, the sister of Geneva, directed the message to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. after authorities found the remains of the beauty queen and her Israeli boyfriend, Yitzhak Cohen, buried at a remote area in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Capas, Tarlac on Saturday, July 6.

Police unearthed the remains after the pair went missing more than two weeks.

Jovi also expressed concern for the security of her family since they plan to pursue cases against the people behind the death of Geneva.
