Sandara Park has been officially welcomed as the new talent of the South Korean agency ABYSS Company on Wednesday, September 1.
On Twitter, ABYSS shared black-and-white photos of Park, famously known as Dara of the legendary girl group 2NE1, as she joins the roster of the agency's talents.
“Welcome, Sandara Park,” the agency wrote.

“We are happy to be part of the new beginning of Sandara Park, who has been loved both domestically and abroad for a long time. We will of course support her to the fullest so she can show the public her new sides and charms that she has yet to showcase, and she will carry out various activities for global fans as well," the agency said in a statement.
ABYSS also released a concept video of the 36-year-old actress-singer.
Park first started her career with YG Entertainment in 2004, the same year she joined the first season of ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition “Star Circle Quest.”
In 2009, she debuted with the four-member girl group 2NE1, which disbanded in 2016.
Earlier this year, YG Entertainment announced that Sandara will officially part ways with the agency after over 17 years of being its talent.
Meanwhile, Abyss Company houses artists Park Won, Urban Zakapa, Sunmi, and GOT7’s BamBam.
