Two Filipino basketball stars are set to showcase their skills overseas as imports.

It has been announced by their respective agencies that former UP Fighting Maroons star Juan Gomez de Liaño will be playing in Korea, while the former University of Toledo big man AJ Edu will take his talents to Japan as an import.

The former Gilas Pilipinas guard has signed a 3-year contract to play for the Seoul SK Knights, the team that was defeated by Renz Abando and Anyang KGC in the recent finals of the Korean Basketball League.

Meanwhile, Edu will make his professional debut for the Toyama Grouses, joining fellow Filipino import Dwight Ramos in the team.
