

TV writer and director Jojo Nones, one of the individuals accused of sexual abuse filed by Sandro Muhlach, apologized to Senator Jinggoy Estrada for his inappropriate responses during yesterday's Senate hearing.
"I am writing to sincerely apologize for my condut during the Senate hearing earlier today. I recognize that my words and tone may have come across as disrespectful, and I deeply regret allowing my emotions to get the best of me," Nones said in his letter dated August 27.

Nones highlighted that the anxiety and stress from his detention had clouded his judgment. He assured that it was not his intention to be disrespectful to the senator or to the Senate as a whole.
"I did not express myself in the manner intended," said Nones.

Nones stated that he views the work of the senators with the highest regard and has immense respect for their roles as the nation's leaders.
"I am committed to ensuring that my future interactions will reflect the respect and professionalism that your positions deserve," Nones affirmed.
Estrada and Nones had a heated exchange during the hearing, which was discussing the alleged abuse experienced by Sandro Muhlach at the hands of Nones and Richard Cruz, another independent contractor of GMA.
