Comedy and theater actors Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina are officially engaged, bringing their love story full circle at the PETA Theater Center—the very place where their romance first blossomed.
The intimate proposal took place at the theater, with Jerald asking the most important question in a setting adorned with lanterns and sunflowers.
The moment was beautifully captured in a series of photos shared by Nice Print Photography on Sunday, August 11.
Before asking the long-awaited question, Jerald expressed his deep love for Kim in a heartfelt message.
“You always ask me why I love you, and I still can’t find the right words. […] All I know is that I love you when I wake up. I love you when I eat. I love you when I go to the gym. I love you before I sleep… I love you even in my dreams,” Jerald said.
“You made me realize that I had been alone for a long time. I have many friends, but I was still trying to figure out what to do because I had gotten used to being on my own,” he added.
Jerald then made his proposal with a touching metaphor: “Kim, you’ve always been my penguin. That’s my spirit animal. And I recently learned that penguins choose a partner and stay with them forever. So Kim, will you be my penguin and marry me?” His words moved Kim to tears.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Kim tearfully said yes, and the couple embraced and kissed, sealing their engagement.
In an Instagram post, Kim happily announced her engagement.
"Back to where we first met, the exact spot where it all started.. it has always been a “YES”, and will forever choose you. I love you, @iamjnapoles," she captioned.

Jerald and Kim’s love story spans a decade, with Kim revealing in January 2024 that she had been the one to pursue Jerald.
The two began as best friends after meeting while working on the musical "Rak of Aegis". Their chemistry led them to collaborate on several projects, including the films "Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam", "Ikaw at Ako at ang Ending", "Girlfriend Na Pwede Na", and "Seoulmeyt".
The couple even competed against each other in the reality show LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines, where Chad Kinis ultimately took the win.
