Lawyer Jay Daniel Santiago has been reappointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as general manager of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

This was confirmed by Santiago, who was also the PPA general manager under the Duterte administration.

"I thank our President, PBBM (President Marcos), for his trust and confidence in entrusting the management of the Philippine Ports Authority to us once again. I am deeply humbled. I know that this is not just about me, or just the PPA Management Team, but also about the hardworking employees of PPA whose dedication and commitment to service shine through," Santiago said in a statement.

Malacañang has yet to release any information on Santiago's reappointment.
