Denise Julia fired back at content creator Killa Kush and renowned photographer BJ Pascual over the statements made at the content creator's "Bad B*tch Bible" podcast episode.
In a series of posts on X, the R&B singer-songwriter hinted on taking legal action against the content creator. The issue erupted after a podcast episode with Pascual aired, discussing the controversial canceled photoshoot with Denise. In addition to what Pascual said, Kush shared that Denise was four hours late to her podcast guesting in the past.
"I don't even want to say her name–she doesn't deserve that from me. Drama is what fuels her career, and I refuse to give her that satisfaction. But legally..." Denise posted in response to Kush.

The "NVMD" singer claimed that Kush' receipts were just her trash talking behind the former and her best friend's back. She added that her name and photos were overused for engagement in all the content creator's events and recent brand highlights.
In a shared screenshot, Denise posted her conversation with Kush, hinting that she would be filing a lawsuit against the content creator.
However, according to Kush, her podcast episodes are meant to be candid and raw, adding that it's a "chikahan podcast," not a documentary. The content creator said that the exchange would be inorganic if she did not share a bit of her firsthand experience with the singer.
"The focus of the show was always to spark challenging conversations in a casual manner, never to shame or humiliate," Kush said in a message to Denise.
"It's truly unfortunate to see how this all unfolded but I'll always wish you the best. There was never a doubt you'd go far. Hope you're still able to enjoy the holidays," she added.
However, Denise hinted that she will be filing a lawsuit on the matter, replying with, "Thanks. I'll see you in court."
She mentioned that she will also be adding the TikTok video that Kush will be uploading to the lawsuit. Seemingly unfazed by the matter, Kush replied, "No worries, merry Christmas!"

In her most recent post, Denise expressed her disappointment on how things turned out. She mentioned beginning the planning phase with Pascual as genuine fans who are excited for the collaboration. She stated how she and her team were upfront about the budget and what they could afford to execute the set of photos.
"What hurts the most is seeing my character publicly attacked over something that's not just out of my control but is a business negotiation between our managers and conversation that should've stayed private," Denise said, replying to Pascual's post.
"You targeted me to bring me down. I've decided to leave the whole screen recording here for full transparency as we have nothing to hide," she added.
"I thought this was something we had agreed on to talk about in person. We are now in contact with our legal team about a defamation suit. I hate that this had to go this way when it didn't have to," she continued.
We went into this wanting to work with you—we’re genuine fans and were so excited about the collaboration. From the very beginning, we were upfront about our budget and what we can afford to execute the music video, the Photoshoot, the album art, the trailer and press photos.
