Swedish underwater photographer Pernilla Sjoö spoke up on her alleged involvement in the recent online feud between Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo.

In a series of Instagram posts, Pernilla expressed how the public’s criticism deeply affected her.

“I don’t understand why some people have so much hate in their bodies. I hope that if you ever make a hurtful comment, you can still sleep peacefully at night and smile knowing you’ve caused someone pain. I’m still human din naman. I still feel hurt, and when it’s too much, it cuts deep,” the Swedish national said in her post.

“I hope you never become the reason someone cries themselves to sleep or questions their worth—asking why they weren’t good enough,” she added.

Over the weekend, Andi posted a series of Instagram stories, alluding to her friend’s “betrayal.”

Although the former did not mention anyone specific, people were quick to suspect that she was referring to Pernilla.

In one of her posts, she asked an AI-generated chatbot if it would be suspicious if her friend invited her life partner to get matching tattoos without filling her in first. The chatbot responded, “Definitely seems suspicious or red flags.”

People suspected that Andi may be referring to the matching 224 tattoos that Pernilla and Philmar got. According to Pernilla’s post, the numbers 224 mean today, tomorrow, and forever, referring to Philmar as her little brother. Due to this, people

Never judge someone without knowing the whole story. You may think you understand, but you don’t,” Pernilla ended.

In another social media post, she said, “You always jump to conclusions before knowing the reason behind things.”

Due to the intense public backlash, Pernilla has set her Instagram account to private.

The Swedish photographer has been in the Philippines since 2013 and is part of Siargao’s first-ever run club.

Meanwhile, Andi and Philmar have been engaged since 2020. They are based in Siargao, and post vlogs on YouTube as the Happy Islanders.
