The House Infrastructure Committee (InfraComm) will suspend its hearings on the alleged flood control anomalies to give way for the investigation of the newly created Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI), Committee Co-chair Terry Ridon announced Wednesday, September 24.

Ridon said the panel will turn over all transcripts, documents, and evidence it gathered during its proceedings to the ICI.

“It is our commitment to fully cooperate with the ICI on any and every aspect of our previous proceedings,” he said.

House Speaker Faustino "Bojie" Dy III is expected to personally deliver the committee’s records to the commission.

The move shifts the intriguing probe to the ICI, which was formed to conduct an impartial and comprehensive review of irregularities in flood control projects.
