A 25-year-old graduating criminology student allegedly died due to a fraternity's initiation rights.
According to Val Gonzales' live report during DZRH Damdaming Bayan, four suspects, who are members of Tau Gamma Phi, are now under the custody of Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
The victim, identified as Aldhryn Bravante, was sent to Chinese General Hospital (CGH) around 6 p.m. by the two alleged suspects and members of the said fraternity.
CGH's guard reported the incident to the Manila Police District (MPD), who then caught the first two suspects inside the hospital.
On Tuesday morning, two other suspects surrendered to QCPD and admitted their involvement in the crime.
According to QCPD spokesperson Lt. Col. Mae Genio, the alleged hazing activities took place in an abandoned condominium at the corner of Sto. Domingo Avenue and Calamba Street in Quezon City.
Genio said that the initial findings show that the victim has been paddled.
QCPD said that the investigation is still ongoing.
