

Ayala Malls Greenbelt and Glorietta have announced that they will be extending their mall hours on Saturday, May 7.
In an announcement, both malls explained that they are adjusting their accommodation time in anticipation of the huge crowd expected to flock to Makati due to miting de advance of Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Francis Pangilinan.
Glorietta said in a statement that their mall hours on May 7 will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. on Sunday.
"With the expected high volume of customers this coming Saturday, May 7, our mall hours will be extended to accommodate our patrons," announced Ayala Malls (Glorietta) on Facebook.
Greenbelt, on the other hand, said their mall hours will be from 10:00 a.m. on May 7 until 2:00 a.m. the following day.
"In light of the larger number of expected visitors on May 7th, Greenbelt will be open until late to give guests and Makatizens a safe place to access essentials," Greenbelt said on a Facebook post.
May 7 has been announced as the day for Vice President Leni Robredo's miting de avance with her running-mate Francis Pangilinan and their whole Senate slate.
Barry Gutierrez, Robredo's spokesperson, said that they are expecting as many as half a million people to join the said event.
It is poised to surpass Robredo's biggest crowd yet in Pasay City on April 23, where organizers said about 400,000 people participated in the said event.
