Rising teen actor Andrei Sison has passed away after getting into a car accident on Friday morning, March 24, his talent agency Sparkle GMA Artist Center confirmed.

"Our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Andrei. We request everyone to respect his family's privacy in this time of great loss and join us in praying for the eternal repose of his soul," it said in a statement posted on its social media pages.

GMA Sparkle said the 16-year-old actor is "well-loved and much cherished".

"We will miss you, Andrei. Be with God now," it added.

According to GMA, Andrei finished taping a variety show at 7 pm on Thursday. The accident happened around 2:30 am on Friday.

He is the son of Alain Marco Salvador, a former cast of the GMA variety show 'That's Entertainment' and the grandson of OPM singer and actor Marco Sison.
