Gilas Pilipinas Women bested Kazakhstan, 21-12, on Thursday, March 28, in the 2024 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup in Singapore.
Camille Clarin scored nine points, while Mikka Cacho, Kaye Pingol, and Jhazmin Jozon all finished with four markers for the third straight win of the Filipinas in the tournament.
The Gilas Pilipinas Women never let go of the lead since Cacho scored the first two baskets of the game until the end of the match.
The victory allowed the Filipinas to advance to the main draw of the competition.
Tamila Zhakipova and Xeniya Abdurashitova both tallied four points, and Dilnaz Yerkebay added three points to pace Kazakhstan.
Prior the match against Kazakhstan, the Gilas Pilipinas Women kicked off their FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup campaign with a rout of Tahiti, 21-3, and Maldives, 19-11.
The Filipinas now prepare to face Mongolia and Malaysia on Friday, March 29.
