Gilas Pilipinas Women dominated Maldives, 144-22, on Tuesday, July 11, in the division B of the 2023 U16 FIBA Women's Asian Championship in Amman, Jordan.

Sophia Canindo scored 21 points while both Nevaeh Smith and Maria Christina Lapasaran added 16 points to lead the Filipinas, which went up by 125 points at most.

The Philippines never felt threatened after starting the game with a 19-point scoring run.

Maldives only scored five points in the first quarter and entered the second period with a 36-point deficit, 41-5, which grew to a 59-point hole, 70-11, by halftime.
