The Supreme Court (SC) welcomed four new Justices to the Court of Appeals (CA) on Thursday, August 29, as they took their oath of office.
Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo administered the oath to the newly appointed CA Associate Justice Ferdinand C. Baylon, CA Associate Justice Emilio Rodolfo Y. Legaspi III, CA Associate Justice Mariette S. Brawner-Cualing, and CA Associate Justice Mary Josephine P. Lazaro at the SC Session Hall.
The four Justices served as Regional Trial Court judges before their promotion to the CA.

Additionally, the Court also welcomed 80 new judges to the Regional Trial Courts, 19 to the Municipal Trial Courts, 24 to the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, and 30 to the Municipal Circuit Trial Courts.
