Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr., the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity, will represent the Philippines in the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) confirmed that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. tasked Galvez to attend the summit that will run from June 15 to June 16.

Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Philippines last June 3, and met with President Marcos.

During his short stay, President Zelenskyy announced the commitment of the Philippines to attend the summit, which will center on the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
