Four former Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries have placed among the topnotchers of the May 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced on Sunday, May 18.

Welfare Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson Irene Dumlao said these beneficiaries’ triumphs prove that the program is not merely about extending aid but also serves as a sturdy bridge leading to success.

Alyna Kyla See, hailing from Dagupan City, Pangasinan took 8th place, while Samantha Joy Eco Cruz of Lingayen, Pangasinan and Kyla Mae Narciza of Santo Domingo, Nueva Ecija both ranked 7th place. Jamela Irish Casis, residing in Aguilar, Pangasinan, earned the 6th spot.

(Each success story serves as an inspiration for our beneficiaries, the government, and for our personnel, who continually strive to achieve real change.)

The DSWD spokesperson assured that there will be continued efforts in developing the agency’s programs and services, which are aimed at dismantling the cycle of poverty.

Aside from these four nursing licensure topnotchers, the 4Ps has also produced three others who earned top marks in different licensure examinations during the first semester of 2025.

Sheila Jane Doles of the University of Northern Philippines bagged the top 5 spot in the Licensure Examination for Midwives, Mustafa Rescober Ali of Rizal Technological University landed the Licensure Examination for Electrical Engineering’s top 2 spot, and Jayvee Fuentebella from the Technological University of the Philippines - Visayas sits at No. 1 in the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
