Thousands of supporters of outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte attended the thanksgiving concert dedicated to him on Sunday, June 26.
The concert entitled 'Salamat PRRD Thanksgiving Concert' was held at the Quirino Grandstand — the same place where the miting de avance of Duterte took place in the 2016 presidential elections.
The concert aimed to commemorate the tenure of President Duterte for the past 6 years.
According to the Philippine National Police (PNP), there were more than 3,000 attendees to the concert, where artists like Andrew E. Dulce, Fredie Aguilar, Jed Madela, Martin Nievera, Philippine Harmonic Orchestra, and many others performed.
According to the attendees, they are thankful for the success of his tenure like the 'Build, Build, Build' infrastructure program as well as the Manila Bay's Dolomite Beach.
Before the concert, President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. vowed to continue the programs and projects of the Duterte administration.
He also thanked Duterte for his support during the election period to the Uniteam tandem.
Before the concert ended, Duterte joined a group of doctors and medical front liners to sing the song "Fill the World with Love" and had a solo performance of the song "Ikaw."
