A joint task force will be created to capture the remaining suspects who are responsible for the assasination of former Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.
In a press briefing on Friday, Department of National Defense (DND) officer-in-charge Galvez said this was ordered by President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. during their visit at Degamo's wake last Wednesday.

The task force, composed of two brigades and six battalions, will join the ongoing operations of the AFP and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
They will also carry out Marcos' "order and search warrants", Galvez added.
Philippine Army (PA) Brigadier General Marion Sison will lead the task force, according to AFP Chief of Staff General Andres Centino.
"He will be assisted by two brigade commanders having operational control in the six battalions," he added.
The DND Chief also shared that the President also ordered him to "suppress the criminal activities and impunities in the entire island of Negros" and to restore the people's "normalcy and confidence".
According to Galvez, they have already deployed 50 special men from the Light Reaction Company (LRC), who were previously sent in the Marawi siege, in Negros Island.
