The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) works to bring home the remains of the three overseas Filipino workers who perished due to the floods in the United Arab Emirates.
DMW said on Friday, April 19, that the Migrant Workers Offices and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Office met with the family of the OFWs.
"They explained the procedures needed to facilitate the repatriation of their remains back to the Philippines," DMW said in a statement.
DMW said that the two Filipinas died from suffocation inside their vehicle.
