Senator Cynthia Villar on Tuesday revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 last November 30.
"I was positive last Thursday. I’m negative today as per antigen. I’m waiting for the [reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction] test result," Villar said in a text message sent to reporters.
Villar virtually attended the Senate session on Monday.
She attended a dinner hosted by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
Earlier today, the Presidential Communications Office revealed that the President has tested positive for COVID-19.
