A Pasig court ordered the transfer of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo to the Pasig City Jail female dormitory from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Quezon City.
In a four-page order, Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 167 presiding judge Annielyn Cabelis said that the court found probable cause to hold trial for Guo and her 15 co-accused in relation to the qualified human trafficking charges against them.
"All the accused in these cases are not entitled to post bail as the charges against them are all non-bailable," the order read.
The co-accused of the former local chief executive include Walter Wong Long, Huang Zhiyang, Rachelle Joan Malonzo Carreon, Zhang Ruijin, Baoying Lin, Yu Zheng Can, Dennis Cunanan, Jamielyn Cruz, Roderick Pujante, Juan Miguel Alpas, Merlie Joy Castro, Rita Yturralde, Rowena Evangelista, Thelma Laranan and Maybelline Millo, also known as Shana Yiyi.
Authorities apprehended Long, a Malaysian national, during the raid of a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) last March in Bamban.
The court also ordered the transfer of Long from the Tarlac Provincial Jail to the Pasig City Jail Male Dormitory.
