The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has announced that the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) will conclude on August 31, with no plans for an extension.
According to RH Boy Gonzales' report on Friday, COMELEC Chairman George Erwin Garcia confirmed that the program, which allows for convenient voter registration and the transfer of voting places, will end as scheduled.
The RAP, typically held in malls, has provided an accessible option for new voters and those needing to update their voting information.
After August 31, however, those wishing to register for the 2025 Midterm Elections will need to do so at the election offices within their respective voting districts.
Voter registration at these district offices will remain open until September 30.
