COMELEC launches distribution of Voter's Information Sheets nationwide
by Mary Antalan02 April 2025

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) officially launched the nationwide distribution of Voter's Information Sheets (VIS) on Wednesday morning, aiming to ensure that registered voters receive essential election details ahead of the upcoming polls.

COMELEC Chairman George Erwin Garcia led the launch and initial distribution at Pasadeña Street corner FB Harrison in Barangay 70, Pasay City.

Following the ceremonial distribution, COMELEC officials, including several commissioners, conducted a house-to-house visit to personally hand out VIS to residents in the area, RH 23 Boy Gonzales reported.

COMELEC personnel distributed the Voter's Information Sheets directly to registered voters, verifying their names and addresses as listed in the VIS.

According to Garcia, this initiative serves as a way for COMELEC to survey whether registered voters still reside at the addresses indicated in their voter registration records.

The VIS contains important information such as the voter's name, polling precinct, and guidelines for the upcoming elections. By ensuring that voters receive these sheets, COMELEC aims to enhance voter awareness and participation while preventing potential discrepancies in the electoral roll.

COMELEC urges all registered voters to check their VIS and report any inconsistencies to their local election offices to maintain the accuracy and integrity of voter records.
