Classes in some schools in Naujan town in Oriental Mindoro still remain suspended on Monday, January 23 due to heavy flooding caused by torrential rains.

In an advisory, classes in the following schools remain canceled:

• Inarawan National High School
• Naujan Municipal High School (Main Campus)
• Agustin Gutierrez Memorial Academy (AGMA)
• Naujan Academy
• San Antonio Elementary School
• Santiago Elementary School
• Mariano P. Leuterio Memorial School (Andres Ylagan)
• Mabini Elementary School (Malvar)
• Mabini Elementary School - Annex (Malvar)
• Aurora National High School - Malvar Extension
• Jose L. Basa Memorial School (Central)

Some areas in Naujan town are still submerged in flood waters after the Mag-Asawang Tubig River overflowed following a consecutive downpour of rains in the past few days.
