The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) advising pilots to avoid flying near the raging Taal Volcano in Batangas.
According to CAAP, flying aircraft must remain far from the volcano's summit as airborne ash and ballistic fragments caused by sudden explosions may pose hazards to aircraft.
The vertical limit is 10,000 feet from the surface.
The NOTAM is valid until September 23 at 9:00 a.m.
