Actor Carlo Aquino has finally confirmed that he is dating actress Charlie Dizon after weeks of rumored romance between them.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN showbiz reporter MJ Felipe, Carlo gave a firm “Yes” when asked if he is going out with the actress.
“Getting to know. Actually, nagkasama kami sa "A Soldier's Heart" 'diba, nagkakilala kami doon. Tapos nag-US tour, mas nakilala ko siya. Ayun," he said.
Dating rumors first sparked after Charlie posted some photos of her hanging out with Carlo and her friends on Instagram last Dec. 29. They were matching in white and seen being close to each other.
This rumor was further ablaze when the two stars were also spotted together in a restaurant in La Union after New Year.
In a separate interview with TV host MJ Mafori, the 37-year-old actor also confirmed that he is getting to know the 26-year-old actress.
"Very positive 'yung pasok niya sa buhay ko. Let's leave it at that. Usually, kapag lumalabas, may mga naninira na tao. Alam niyong importante sa akin ito," he said.
Carlo and Charlie are starring in Black Sheep Production's upcoming film titled "Love on a Budget."
In April 2022, the actor revealed that he broke up with his then-girlfriend Trina Candaza but said they are communicating only for their daughter, Enola Mithi.
