Police have arrested Jianxin Yang, also known as Tony Yang—the brother of former presidential economic adviser Michael Yang—on multiple charges in Pasay City, Edniel Parrosa reported on Damdaming Bayan.

According to a report received by Southern Police District (SPD) Director PBGen. Randy Arceo, officers served an arrest warrant to Yang on Wednesday night. He is now under the custody of the Pasay City Police and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC).

The warrant was issued by a municipal trial court in Cagayan de Oro for charges of falsification of public documents, perjury, and violation of the anti-alias law.

Authorities revealed that Yang, a 54-year-old Chinese national, had allegedly used the alias Antonio Maestrado Lim to establish 12 companies across Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro.
