MPD monitors 2 brgy. chairmen, 20 councilors for alleged involvement in illegal drugs

The Manila Police District (MPD) is monitoring the two Barangay chairmen and 20 other councilors who are allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade in Manila.
According to an exclusive report by RH Boy Gonzales, MPD Brig. General Andre Dizon confirmed that the MPD is monitoring the said Barangay officials.
However, Dizon did not provide further details about the officials but assured that the MPD will work together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on the monitoring move.
Earlier, MPD officers caught two barangay councilors in Sampaloc, Manila who are also allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

The two officials were directed to undergo drug tests.
