A school in Quezon City has canceled its afternoon classes due to a bomb threat it received early Thursday morning, January 26.
According to the initial report from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Cubao Station (PS 7), teacher Marlon Trinidad saw a post on Ponciano Bernardo High School's Facebook page at around 4:30 a.m. from a certain Bob Key Ser Panganiban who said that he planted an explosive inside the school.
Trinidad first reported the post to the school head and the school principal suggested conducting an inspection of the school located in Barangay Kaunlaran, Cubao, QC.
They then reported the incident to the police at around 9:10 a.m.
Responding to the report, the police probed the area and cleared that there was no sign of explosives within the place.
Earlier this week, a separate incident of bomb threat also alarmed the teachers in two schools, leading the students to cut their classes.
On January 23, classes in New Era Elementary School were disrupted, after the report about a bomb planted inside the school, while San Francisco High School received the same threat on January 25.
Police found no explosives or any hazardous materials inside the school after thorough inspections and searches.
