Jisoo is coming into our area!
On Tuesday, YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK member Jisoo has begun filming her music video for her much-awaited solo debut.
"The music video for Blackpink's Jisoo's solo song is being filmed in strict secrecy at an all-location location. You can look forward to it as we invested the largest production cost ever among Blackpink's videos," the agency said in a press statement.
This was after they announced in January that the K-pop artist would release her solo album this year.
Despite her busy schedule due to group activities and concerts, Jisoo has been working hard to keep her promise to her fans.
It was also revealed that they were filming overseas to produce the 'birth of an all-time great music video'.
"Jisoo, who will be reborn as a solo artist, planned all locations overseas to maximize the charm of this song," it added.
She is the last member who will debut as a solo artist, following Lisa with her hit songs 'Lalisa' and 'Money'.
Jennie was the first-ever member to debut with her first release 'Solo' in 2018, followed by Rosé in 2021 with 'On The Ground' and 'Gone'.
