The Bureau of Immigration arrested a Chinese woman allegedly involved in the operation of an illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO).
According to reports, the Chinese national is tied to Zun Yuan Technology, the POGO in Bamban, Tarlac, which was recently raided by authorities due to allegations of criminal and human trafficking activities.
Zun Yuan Technology, formerly known as Hongsheng Gaming Technology Inc., is the POGO hub linked to dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo. It has been the focus of investigations in both the Senate and Congress.
Operatives together with government intelligence forces, conducted the operation after confirming her presence in the area, she was arrested in a restaurant in Pasay City.

"These companies doing illegal activities have no place in the country," BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said.
"Expect more arrests as we crackdown on illegal POGO operations," he added.
While deportation proceedings are underway, the suspect will be held in the custody of the Bureau of Immigration.
